This 85mm larger hemithrottle body is the ideal upgrade for any owner who enjoys the benefits of their factory high-tech turbocharger, but maybe feels like the overall performance could be improved upon. The larger 85mm throttle body delivers quicker throttle response and adds the opportunity for even more horsepower. It's easy to install, fitting directly in place of the production throttle body, and comes with its own new mounting bolts. There are no calibration or tuning changes required.
How to relearn the throttle body ?
1. Once the TB is installed and the battery is reconnected, the ignition need to be turned to the 'ON' position to light up the dash like a Xmas tree.2. Once the warning lights come on, you press the gas pedal slowly all the way down till you reach the floor. Count 5 seconds.3. After you count 5 seconds, slowly depress the gas pedal till its fully released.4. Turn on the car and that completes the re-learn process.Follow these instructions carefully to ensure correct fitment and operation:
• Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
• Disconnect the air temperature sensor plug and the throttle body control motor plug.
• Loosen the clamps on the air intake tube and air
box, and then remove the tube.
• Remove the four bolts that secure the throttle body to the intake manifold.
• Remove the stock throttle body. The stock Oring seal will be re-used. Be sure to wipe off and
debris from the gasket.
• Bolt on this Enlarged Throttle Body using the stock hardware. On the 5.7L Hemi Plastic manifolds,
take extra care when re-installing the mounting
bolts.
• Re-install the air inlet tube to the Throttle Body and air box and then tighten the clamps.
•Re-connect the air temperature sensor and thethrottle body control motor plug. Re-connect thenegative battery terminal and refer to the instruction sheet for throttle relearnprocedure.
