OVERVIEW

The Atlas Tire Crosswind A/T is an all terrain, all season tire manufactured for SUVs and light trucks.

The tire promotes exceptional on- and off-road terrain traction. The tread design features large, staggered blocks and a high void ratio that enhance the tire's on-road grip and soft, loose and uneven terrain traction throughout its performance. This ensures the tire's safer and effortless forward motion on various terrain conditions, without the fear of the tire getting stuck in such situations. The tread design helps keep the footprint clean. The staggered blocks and the open shoulder design eliminate mud and snow stuck between the tread elements, preventing them from blocking the tire's surface contact. In this manner, the tire provides safer versatile terrain traction and enhances the driving safety levels.

The tread design works together with the internal structure to boost the driving safety levels. The tread's staggered block and high void ratio prevent stones and rocks from lodging into the footprint. They eject such rocks before they can drill into the casing and damage the tire with stone retention. The strengthened construction, on the other hand, keeps the ideal tire shape under the load and driving pressure affecting the tire. This allows the tire to securely perform in various situations, without deformation. It also slightly upgrades the load carrying and withstanding power, increasing the load capacity.

The model increases the controllability throughout its performance. The tread's optimal block placement helps maintain the surface contact of the tires, which boosts the steering responsiveness. As a result, the tire becomes faster and more precise in its response to the driver's commands. The stronger construction stabilizes the tire against the driving pressure affecting it. The Atlas Tire Crosswind A/T promotes a longer lasting tread life. The large tread block pattern and the stronger compound elements increase the tread durability. The compound keeps the rubber flexibility in various temperatures and prevents heat build-up along the tread area. As a result, it prevents premature wear formations. On the other hand, the tread blocks are stabilized against the driving pressure, minimizing tread flexing. This, along with the optimal footprint, enables the tire to equally spread the driving pressure out across the tread area, actively avoiding irregular wear.
