We also use afull forged flat top piston made for us to allow you maximum valve to piston clearance on almost any cylinder head you might havewhile allowing it to be a pump gas friendly buildor we can also do a race gas higher compression version ifneeded as well as a lower compression ration for boost or nos. The machine work on the block includes;a complete cleaning and surface inspection of our blocks whichstarts by: being burnt and blasted in our cleaning system, thenthey all get squared up by our BHJ fixtures which gives youa truly squared up deck surface after we mill them (a plus forholding a head gasket tight under high stress applications) and then theymove on down the line to having their lifter bores gauged and honedwith our Sunnen lifter bore honing tools (so that you won’t have to worryabout lifters galling or a tight lifter that doesn’t fit right during yourbuild and cause you great frustration) Then off to being linehoned in our Sunnen line hone machine. From there they get bored .030or .040 over in our CNC Rotler Boring Machine where we alsomaintain machine work squareness for more added HP and lower friction. Now theywill be trial assembled and Clarenced for the 4340 steelcrankeagle stroker kit. Next they will go into our CV-616 hone machine where ofcourse all of them get a set of honing plates put on them. (Wehave also seen a gain on the engine Dyno of at least 30-40hp, just from beinghoned with the honing plates vs. a 351w ford block .040 over with just a plainJane hone job.) This short block comes assembled with a set of.040 over real Forged Wiseco/SRP/JE/Mahle pistons(Compression Ratios-Flat-top: 58cc-10.3:1,61cc-9.9:1) with one of those head combos or with Cometic head gaskets you will get you 8:3-13:3 to 1 compression withdiff piston combos (we can figure out what head gasket will get you whatyou need) and if you wanted to add Boost or NOS then this is truly yourshort block. We also have included a set of ARP main bolts at noextra charge. The piston rings are file fit plasma moly and the rodand main bearings are Clev 77 large radius racing bearings along with brassfreeze plugs and a set of Dura bond cam bearings whichare installed in the block. (They are checked for proper fit andalignment before they leave so you don’t need to worry about your cam notfitting upon arrival.) The crank is a newEagle 4340 crank 0balance with a 4.170 in stroke, the rods are a 6.200-6.250 floated style SIRrod with ARP cap screw bolts. Now we offer this short block in yourchoice of colors which are wide ranging (just let us know when youbuy it) and we also offer a photo album build up ofdigital pictures of your engine, so you can feel like you’re in the room as wemachine it and build it to fit your needs. (It’s also nice for theguy’s or girls like us who have pictures of our rides which started as a pileof nuts and bolts and ended up finished and at the local cruise night or out onthe race tracks.)

·Weoffer our engines in an arrayofcolors and our longblocks ship with a steelengine cradle and the proper oil pan, timing cover and harmonic balancer foreasy of install. Wecan also add a flywheel, flex plate and more such as intakes valve covers etc tothe build for the cost of the parts only and labor is install free for installingthem. Wecan even use your old parts to finish the build if you mail them to use. (intake,covers etc.)
·Weoffer shipping worldwide but at an additional price asshipping styles can vary from country to country. Also when shipping to thelower 50 US states and going to a place of business or to a local truckingterminal near you, there is a flatshipping fee of $200 and if you have any doubton shipping charges please ask before buying or if you need an internationalquote please do the same. Home delivery is extra over the std $200 but we onlycharge the difference above what we pay in the first $200. Please ask beforebuying if residential is needed. Any non commercial location is also extra forshipping such as a home base business.
·OnShipping and taking possession from the shipping carrier: I can’tstress enough that it needs to be unwrapped and inspected before signing for. Thecarrier will not cover any damages and you will have to pay forrepairs if missed upon arrival. Weinsure everything at twice its value, butthe carrier will not pay a dime if signed for and damages are found later afteryou leave. (although its rare... damages can occurduring shipping)
·Due toshipping rules, engines are drained after priming andrequire filling before installation. There is also noharmonic balancer bolt installedbut your old one will be the same.
