Types of Fabrics
- German A5 ($$$) –Premium material manufactured in Germany. Original factory material used for convertible tops.Composed of a 3-layer canvas made up of polyester, rubber, and cotton.
- Twillfast RPC ($$) –A to German A5 in appearance, and produced by HAARTZ in the USA. This material uses a thicker rubber core to increase durability and reduce exterior noise entering the cabin. The longest lasting,most flexible, and most modern canvas available. We use this canvas on all our tops to ensure a long-lasting top that will withstand hot weather and wear and tear.
- Twillfast II ($$) -A variation of Twillfast RPC that does not feature the noise cancelling rubber core technology.
- Stayfast ($) -The most affordable cloth fabric offered by Haartz. This is a 2-layer fabric without a rubber core. Minimal stretch, meaning that wrinkles will be more visible.
- Sailcloth and other Vinyl topping ($) -Thesematerials are made of vinyl and offer good protection from the elements. They are generally louder for passengers. Original material for Mustang, Nissan, Mazda, etc. tops.
Warranty
OEM Plus Auto Tops, Inc.offers aFIVE-YEAR (5)manufacturer’s warranty on all listed convertible tops. Warranty cycle starts from the day the convertible top is shipped.
Before starting installation, inspect top or headliner of any marks, defects or damages. We recommend protecting the plastic or glass window from getting damaged during install.

- Stitching or heat-seal seams coming apart
