2006-2010 PONTIAC SOLSTICE SATURN SKY TRUNK LID PROTECTORS 2! *RED* CARBON FIBER. Please read instructions for installation below.
This is for a left and right trunk lid “protector” for all Saturn sky and Pontiac solstice. The vinyl is gloss RED carbon fiber - I was making these in gloss black but switched to carbon fiber as I had many customers ordering for other color vehicles. The carbon fiber looks cool on any color! And most importantly covers that nasty sun damaged OEM sticker that can’t be peeled off now that it’s baked on. * the red is not an exact match to the GM paint but blends amazingly close with the carbon fiber!
This is a quick cheap easy fix.
1. Use hair dryer and peel off the silver trim ring and small black trim tab.
2. Lay your vinyl replacement down and smooth out, heat with hair dryer.
3. Carefully trim small hole for silver trim ring with your own exacto razor blade.
4. Apply your own emblem adhesive or other glue to both parts you removed (can be found at any auto supply store) and re-adhere your silver trim ring and black trim tab.
** unfortunately I do not have a picture of the carbon fiber vinyl installed so I have the original pics of the black vinyl installed, will look the same except carbon fiber pattern.
