OVERVIEW

The Cooper Cobra Radial G/T is a touring all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles.

The tire promotes excellent all weather traction. The tread design and all season tire compound work together to increase the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The tire compound maintains its flexibility even in colder temperatures, while the tread design’s refined elements firmly grip the road surface all year round. The refined elements and the circumferential grooves actively resist hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the tire’s footprint. The safer all weather traction and hydroplaning resistance ensure a secure driving experience throughout the year.

The model’s tread and internal structure guarantee a comfortable drive. The optimized tread design with the refined tread elements decrease the road noise levels heard in the vehicle’s cabin. The optimized tread negates the road noise generated while the tires are in motion by creating a sound frequency that successfully negates them. The internal structure’s two polyester casing plies maintain the tire’s road contact at all times. They allow the model to closely follow the road surface which prevents road vibrations and reduces the shock of driving significantly. This results in a comfortable and quiet driving experience.

The tire promotes a longer lasting tread life. The tread pattern’s notched center rib, shoulder slotting design and the internal structure’s twin steel belts prevent irregular tread wear. The notched center rib and the slotted shoulder design manage to evenly distribute the driving pressure across the tread area. The equally spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking avoid irregular wear formations across the tread area. The internal structure’s steel belts avoid tread flexing by stabilizing the tread area, which also prevents uneven tread wear. This combination ensures an extended tread life and usability.

The Cobra Radial G/T offers exceptional controllability. The tread design and internal structure combined enhance the steering responsiveness and driving stability. The notched center rib and the shoulder tread blocks boost the steering response time and accuracy, which ensures better control in all weather. The internal structure’s polyester cord plies stabilize the tire by enabling constant road contact. The better steering control and stability ensure a safer driving ability in all weather.
