1971 Porsche 911s engine #6310322. I got it from a salvage yard that was clearing out old inventory, I got all the Porsche parts that they had. I was told that this engine was taken out of a wrecked 911S in the 70s or early 80s. This appears to be a low mileage engine based on it\'s excellent original cosmetic condition.
This engine sat in a building in a very dry part of California all these years. At this time the engine does not turn by hand using a wrench on the pulley nut, I have added Kroil to each spark plug hole and this may free things up over time or it may need to be taken apart and rebuilt. I lubed the throttle linkages and they move nice and smooth. One pictures shows how clean it is down one of the throttle body intakes and all 6 look this nice, usually the magnesium gets crusty but that is not the case on this engine.
