Material: CPR\'S firewall pads are vacuum formed from ABS plastic with a medium embossed leather grain and duplicate the original look and texture exactly for cars built between 1928 and the mid-1960s. ABS plastic is very tough, yet flexible, and does not show scratches or scuffs.

* Our pads can be easily dyed with a flat vinyl plastic spray paint. If you plan to dye your new pad, please specify that when ordering so that the surface can be left untreated. This will allow the dye to adhere.
About the product: Don\'t confuse our pads with the cheap unmolded pads available elsewhere. Our pads are finished as original, with welting sewn along the sides or bottom or a rubber \"skirt\" sewn along the bottom to cover the top of the floor mat or carpet, and are backed with a double layer of 3/8\" thick thermal/acoustic material to provide the best sound and heat insulation in the industry.
