Unless otherwise stated, all items are warranted for 90 Days following purchase. All items submitted for warranty consideration will be tested, and inspected to verify not only that they are defective, but that the defect was caused by material or workmanship. If, in the sole judgement of Smith Co Electric or the item manufacturer the item does qualify for warranty, the item will be repaired or replaced and returned to the buyer, or the purchase price refunded at Smith Co Electric\'s discretion. *All shipping costs are responsibility of buyer for both submitting and returning warranted items.* If in the sole judgement of Smith Co Electric or the item manufacturer the item was consumed, subject to abuse, faulty repair, broken drive, drive ends or housings, staying engaged, could be the result of faulty parts external to the item, etc., warranty will be denied. This warranty is limited to making good by repair, replacement, or refund, whichever Smith Co Electric deems most appropriate. This warranty does not apply to loss of vehicle, loss of time, inconvenience, or consequential damages.
Payments Policy: Items will ship after receiving cleared payment through Paypal, Credit Card, or mailed check. If paying by check, shipment will be held until check clears, please contact us if you are paying with this method.
Domestic Shipping Policy: Most items ship within one business day. Carrier is generally USPS Priority for low weight items and UPS Ground for heavier items. If purchasing multiple items please contact us for a combined (lower) shipping rate. If you need an item via Next Day Air, please contact us to confirm shipment and rate. We upload tracking information as soon as items ship.
International Shipping Policy: International shipments are generally sent via USPS Priority International and will be calculated to the shipping location. Shipping times are not guaranteed as customs delays may occur.
Returns accepted for 30 days following purchase unless otherwise specified for individual item. Item must be clean, free of any defects, and in original packaging. Items that have been mounted, used, or modified will not qualify for a return. All items will be tested and inspected before refund is issued. Defective items may be covered under the warranty policy, but are not returnable as they have been installed and used. Claims: Report errors or shortages within 10 days. Claims for damages in transit must be filed with the transportation company, as they assume all responsibility after goods are received by them. We recommend the damaged shipping carton be retained or the damage photographed.
