SUMMARY of improvements of Phase 2 over Phase 1:
1. Width:Rears: 7mm wider than phase 1 - per sideGiving us healthy +52mm (rear, per side) widening over stock arches.2. Shape:Wideningachieved not by \"only\" pulling arches. The whole over fender wasreshaped. They are \"beefier\" from top to the bottom in all directions.Arch lines are much sharper and rounded. That creates a dynamicsilhouette of the whole car complimenting the beloved shape of an E36not ruining it.
3. Fitment related improvements:There were complaints on a slightdifference in width. Matching now.
4. Finish:\"FitmentLab\" quality was always standing out from many other manufacturers. Asurface is always even and ready to prime/paint or wrap. Was mattbefore. Now it is glossy which is better for wrapping and you have toagree just looks better. Air bubbles might get trapped under the gelcoat, when that happens we take care of that and you will find fillerspots on the surface. Fenders are white but not meant to be installed asit is. Painting or wrapping is a must.
5. What to expect out of the box:Guyskeep in mind. \"Fitment Lab\" over fenders are handcrafted from A to Z.Many human hours are involved in every single part that leaves ourproduction line. Every single part taken out of the mold is laid on atable for final cutting and sanding down to fit as close as possible toyour body shell. So slight alteration between fender edge thickness isacceptable and takes a few minutes of sanding on installation.
REAR RIGHT QUARTER PANEL with fuel tank filler hole.Thisone will come out of the mold slightly warped because of additionalstiffness that filler hole gives. Just push it towards the body andrivet or screw or bond.
5. Shipping and packagingOverfenders are big size parts.Wedo our best to package them well. All sharp corners are foam wrappedand held together with a help of cardboard \"pockets\" to dispersepressure evenly. All that is packed in five-layers 24BC type cardboardboxes.Though sometimes it happens that corners get chipped off.
Please be reasonable. A small chip or a crack in the corner is easilyrepairable while installing them. We are always here to help and find asolution for any problem or complication you might experience.
