BMW E46 M3 CSL style carbon airbox For Sale - New and Used

Complete CSL style carbon intake box for BMW E46 M3 S54. Airbox is made by Karbonius and features a 2X carbon weave. Intake snorkel ,air filter , tubing and air filter is original BMW E46 M3 CSL. Included is a harness to make the intake flap work , just like OEM. I am also including a DME ( engine control unit ) with Kassel hardware / software CSL mapping. This kit has no more than 500km on it , as it was a display vehicle.
Some info on the tune;MSS54 / MSS54HP Full CSL Hardware/Firmware ConversionConvert your MSS54 or MSS54HP to run the full BMW CSL software. This conversion also allows for use of the OEM CSL air flap and a MAP sensor when you use the CSL air intake box. This software is the most superior base for tuning your S54 without a MAF. Ideal for CSL airbox.Some info on Karbonius air box ;Our Karbonius CSL Style Airbox with 1,7 kgrs weight , made 100% in prepreg carbonfibre in autoclave at 125º.Replic of the original one based on 3D scan of the original one but presentsseveral differences with the genuine BMW CSL Airbox. Among others:• Trumpets made in carbon fibre instead in plastic, what make our airbox evenmore light.•Diameter and shape of the trumpets modified, 51,5 mm diameter instead 50 mmand a round shape on the front of the trumpets contributes to a better airflowinside the engine.• Exclusive 6th trumpet design, the 6th trumpets it´s the less air gets , so weredesigned the shape of this trumpet to get more air and we constated 1hp gainwith this modification.• We have also softened some shapes and varnished the interior, what contributes to minimize the turbulences inside the airbox .Besides, it includes the CNC machined-made items of aluminium and thenanodized , aluminium threads and stainless-steel screws. We put a lot of attentionto match the weave in the different places of our intake , that´s why the piecepresents a perfect match between both sides and also create a hermetic sealwith a neoprene foam gasket between front/rear part.Depending on the state of your car and mapping selected you could get up to25HP, but sure you will get a better throttle response and a fantastic induction roar.
